Designer as Author: James Victore
Self-taught designer James Victore is known for his vivid, memorable, and often controversial work. In a discussion of his first book, Victore or, Who Died and Made You Boss?, Victore will draw upon the experiences behind his best-known projects, including his inspirations, process and lessons learned.

One lucky raffle winner will receive a signed copy of the book at the event. Copies will also be available for purchase, and Victore will conduct a signing after his presentation.

The author has sought one goal in his work over the last 25 years—"to make it personal"—and we expect the discussion to reflect exactly that.

About the Speaker
James Victore is currently a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has won countless design awards. He is a popular lecturer around the world and has been the subject of many solo exhibitions.

This event is co-sponsored by AIGA Chicago and IADT.
