Jason Tselentis Lecture - Monday April 18, 2011

Jason Tselentis is a designer, writer, and educator living in North Carolina. He has completed print and interactive design for: Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum, the Henry Art Museum, Intel Labs, the National Park Service, Sony BMG Music, Continental Tires, and 20th Century Fox. As Assistant Professor at Winthrop University’s Department of Design, Jason teaches graphic design and typography. His work has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts and How magazine.

Jason has volunteered as Development Director for Charlotte’s American Institute of Graphic Arts, and currently serves on their Advisory Board. His writings about design and visual culture have appeared in Arcade, Eye, mental_floss, and How magazines. Between 2003 and 2009 he regularly contributed to the award-winning design forum Speak Up as an author. Rockport published his first book “Type, Form & Function” in 2011.

Rockport has also generously given us copies of his book to raffle at the lecture.

This is a free event open to the whole of the Chicago Design community and sponsored by Students In Design, the AIGA Chicago student group of AIGA Chicago at Columbia College Chicago.
