Hello all. Jhoana Mora sent me an e-mail regarding the 8th International Design Conference, Esquina Norte, to be held in Tijuana, Mexico this September 15, 26, and 27. Check it out at the link below. It's looking to be a great line-up of speakers. If you are so inclined as to be be in Tijuana in September, you might want to swing by.

Here's the link. There are English and Spanish sites—Flash and HTML options for both.

Alright…I'm obviously not impartial. But, we had nothing to do with this. Converse just launched a really cool project with Julian Casablancas (from The Strokes), Pharell (N.E.R.D.) and Santagold. Free download song off their web site http://www.converse.com as well as a video which has just started leaking through YouTube. The video was produced by Psyop in New York. It's a pretty amazing piece of work. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPZ5fnYFI4Q

By the way, the guys behind this are from Chicago—a little hometown love.

So, just back from a much needed—but far too brief—respite in Miami. Actually, I was up in Sunny Isles which is approximately 14 miles North of South Beach. If one is looking to hide somewhere in the world, Sunny Isles is as good a place as any—especially the Aqualina Hotel.
