Tim Bruce studied Graphic Design at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle upon Tyne, England, before graduating in the top 1% of all students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to founding Lowercase, Tim worked as a designer with the Center for Advanced Study, Williams and Phoa in London, England and VSA Partners in Chicago.
His work has been published, honored by every major national and international design competition and is included in the permanent collections of several museums in the United States and Europe. He is a judge of design competitions and speaks widely–from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University to the Dallas Society of Visual Arts–on the value of design to business.
